It might not feel like it now, but summer is just around the corner! That makes right now a great time to get your home "summer ready” so you can sit back and enjoy all the glorious season has to offer.


Living circumstances may differ from houses to apartment or condo living, but there are many things in common that can be done to prepare for the season ahead. Let’s jump in with your where to get started list; 10 must do’s:


  1. Clean your windows inside and out so you can maximize your best views and let all of the natural light in.


  1. Inspect your windows and doors (especially the caulking and weather stripping) to ensure there aren’t any air leaks and to improve your home’s energy efficiency.


  1. Get your air conditioning unit serviced so you can be sure it is in good working order when the time comes that you need to use it.


  1. Polish up your BBQ to get ready for summer grilling!


  1. Clean your patio and outdoor furniture - this way you won’t miss you out the first of the outdoor sitting weather.
